Amphenol MS & 97B series are two series of thread & Bayonet coupled connectors
designed to meet the operating requirements of MIL-C-5015. available in a variety of styles
& classes, these connectors are primarily used in a range of military and industrial
applications where specific degrees of environmental protection are required.
Amphenol 97B connectors feature a quick a mating bayonet coupling with an audible full
mating feature. This series uses the same MIL-C-5015 insert patterns and are used in high
shock and vibration environments encountered in commercial, geophysical, aerospace,
ground support and shipboard applications.
Temperature: -55C to +125C
Accessory Requirements: Various Backshells available for different requirements
Environmental Resistance: Waterproof
Quick Bayonet and Threaded Coupling: Audible and tactile indication of full coupling
Corrosion Resistance: Rugged construction; aluminum or stainless steel components
Mating Cycle: 500 couplings minimum
| Note 1: Connector 3103 supplied in two types. Connector with rear end thread to accept backshell & without rear end thread. To order 3103 without rear end thread do not add any connector class such as (A, E, F, R...) & hence it is similar to 3102 with Back Box Mount for e.g 97B-3103 -18-1P-622 Connector without thread. |
Note 2: Standart connectors are supplied with cadmium plating. (Olive dab chromate green condactive finish.) |
