EV Series

The EV Series Connector line is specifically designed for connecting the Power Cables within a mobile or stationary power supply. The power supplies may be used with vehicle drives systems or stationary power. The connectors meet the necessary specifications for commercial transportation requirements.
The IP2X or TUV Fingerproof design on both the plug and receptacle allow much greater flexibility when connectorizing ‘always hot’  systems such as battery packs, fuel cells, capacitor packs etc.

The design is based on the Military 5015 and Amphenol GT Reverse Bayonet series connectors assuring  a proven rugged metal design. Wide range of current capacities from 100A to 500A. Built in HVIL or interlock sensing circuit for safety. Six keyed and color coded plug positions to prevent misconnections. Continuous through connector shielding, both Overmolded and Mechanical Backshell, FMLB capable.

ADGC Series Connector

ADG Bayonet coupling connectors in accordance with VG95234, well known as Amphenol ADG bayonet connectors, are basically MIL-C-5015 type connectors.
They withstand exposure to moisture, oil and vibration.

AMHTC series Connectors

Amphenol “AMHTC” high tension connector series for railway vehicle installable power distribution systems, offers the ultimate in safety and reliability under the most
severe operating conditions.
The AMHTC series connecters allow the user to connect electrical equipment quickly with ultimate safety.
AMHTC is available in two standard formats, which allow complete hook up through the standard daisy chain principle.


These connectors with reverse bayonet coupling are qualified to the VG95234 standard.
Offering a high liability, they are coevally waterproof and resistant to vibrations and wear.
They use the same installation dimensions and contact arrangements as connectors according to MIL-C-5015. However they are provided with reverse bayonet  coupling and wave washer, which guarantee a fast and effortless locking/unlocking and avoid an unintentio nal unlatch due to heavy vibrations.
• All VG95234 designs are basically equipped with an individual wire sealing grommet.
• Common applications include military sector,  industrial plants and railway vehicles as well as propulsion technologies, machine tools, measurement and robotics.
Power 38999
KVTV 38999

The KVTV connector series is a collaboration of the MIL-DTL-38999 and MIL-DTL-5015 technologies designed to push high amperage / voltage in harsh environments. The KVTV was originally driven by the need for military vehicles to power more systems while reducing their  dependency on diesel fuels. Many of our commercial and hybrid 5015 connectors are no longer seen as viable solutions due to their design limitations for these applications. This newly designed connector  series offers you the environmental and vibration standards of the  MIL-DTL-38999 while utilizing the readily available 5015 inserts and  rear accessories.

Mil-DTL-38999 Series III circular connectors with hyperbolic contacts that extend the boundaries of high power connector technology.  Designed to meet the latest military and industrial specifi cations, Rhino 38999 connectors also meet stringent safety requirements. As one of the foremost manufacturers of both connectors and interconnect systems specifi cally for applications within military, aerospace and industrial markets, Amphenol has recognised a distinct trend towards increased power and voltage requirements within such applications as military and electric drive vehicles, aircraft and intelligence bases stations. The use of RADSOK contacts creates an electrical interface that exceeds typical interconnect requirements via a hyperbolic socket contact construction which distributes normal forces over a high percentage of the mating surface to ensure a smooth and even engagement force with exceptionally high performance under vibration. The large surface area of the socket contact also results in a very low contact resistance enabling much higher current ratings compared to other power contact designs. High reliability applications including vehicular, aerospace, industrial, automation, mining, offshore and other harsh environments can all be addressed using the Rhino 38999 Series.

The Amphenol Power Connectors incorporate the proven design of the Mil-DTL-38999 Series III  Tri-Start connectors with the evolving technology of the High Power RADSok® contacts.  This newly designed product is the future of power connectors enabling  customers to choose contacts ranging from 70 to 250 amps allowing more power in a smaller connector. Using  standard shell sizes for 38999 connectors will allow the Power Connectors to mate to existing mounting holes without changing the customer’s original design. 
Amphenol will also be incorporating our new alternate to Cadmium Plating called Durmalon. Durmalon is a  Nickel-PTFE that is proven to meet Coupling Torque, Shell to Shell Conductivity, and Durability tests required  by the MIL-DTL-38999 salt spray requirements.

The ePower series of connectors are designed for the demanding requirements of hybrid, electric vehicles, and utility truck electrical systems, operating at 800vdc to 1000vdc with a 200A to 500A rating. The product incorporates the patented RADSOK® technology for higher amperage, lower T-rise, less resistance and mating force. Meantime, it offers a 40% smaller footprint than three EMI shielding cable glands and easier operation of termination with shielded cable by a washer compressing the shield to the inside surface of the shell. The connector series covers 2 or 3 power contacts.  As an example, one ePower 400A connector can replace three conventional connectors, saving space and cost.

IDS-38 Amphe-Lug


Amphenol Industrial Operations introduces a series of high amperage, high conductivity copper terminals for use in harsh environment applications. These terminals are available for metric or AWG wire in one or two hole designs. Electro-tin plating on the terminals is standard. An inspection hole is provided to ensure adequate cable insertion is achieved. A listing of recommended crimping instructions and tools is available upon request.
